About michelle

Michelle wants you to love yoga!   Her light-hearted approach offers a comfortable atmosphere for every level of student, and her vinyasa style classes are taught with intelligent sequencing that leaves students feeling centered, energized, and relaxed.  Michelle’s mission is to instill the importance of physical alignment for a safe and beneficial yoga practice while also helping students to integrate the sensations of yoga off the mat and into daily life; developing a wholesome self.

Michelle, a RYT 500 through Yoga Alliance, has been practicing yoga for over 15 years.  In 2007, she completed her 200 hour training under the skilled tutelage of Natasha Rizopolous  and YogaWorks.  Most recently, Michelle finished a 300 hour teacher training course with Natasha and Barbara Benagh at Down Under School of Yoga in Boston. Although, the education continues.

When pregnant with her 3rd child, Michelle became certified in prenatal yoga with Barrett Reinhorn of Five Points Yoga.  Experiencing the excitement, wonder, and pains of pregnancy, Michelle became motivated to ease ailments, improve her own alignment, and to help others to do the same.  Teaching yoga is a great privilege, and Michelle loves guiding individuals through their own practice.

Off the mat, Michelle enjoys life with her husband, 3 kids, and dog.  She holds an undergraduate degree in English & Environmental Science from the University of Notre Dame and a masters degree in Environmental Management from Harvard University.
